We process personal data only to the extent required to provide FlenkyEasyOrder (digital menu and ordering system). Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).
When visiting the website, the web server automatically processes technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type). This data serves the operation and security of the service and is deleted after a short period.
When registering a restaurant account we process name, email address, restaurant name and an encrypted password. The email address is confirmed via double opt-in. Data is stored for the lifetime of the account and removed upon deletion.
Guests can order without providing personal data. We store the table number, ordered dishes, optional notes and the time of the order, associated with the respective restaurant. Free-text notes should not contain personal data.
When using the contact form we process the provided data (name, email address, message) to handle the enquiry. The message is delivered to us by email.
Menus uploaded by restaurants (photos or PDFs) are transmitted to an AI provider for automatic text recognition (depending on configuration, e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) and processed there. Only the menu itself is transmitted — never guest or order data.
FlenkyEasyOrder does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The browser's local storage only holds technically necessary settings: the chosen language, the sign-in token for restaurants and, for guests, the reference to their current order.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Please contact info@flenky.com.
